On Veterans Day, the boys dressed in their red and blue ties as we honored those who served. Our neighborhood put together a wonderful event for the groundbreaking of the new Veterans Commemorative Plaza. A large part of the community attended. The plaza will include a US Flag and POW flag post surrounded by custom pavers and park benches. The pavers will be inscribed with Veterans names and various details of their service. Ethan called it a day to thank “the soldiers and Army guys, like Uncle Pat”. Yep! Uncle Pat’s name will be printed on one of the pavers and placed at the plaza soon. Anytime we walk by the pool house corner, we will see his name and other veterans names inscribed. We love living in the kind of neighborhood that supports this plaza and celebrates our veterans!
