Nana and Papa!

Nana and Papa arrived to town on Good Friday. We enjoyed a family pizza night with Susie, Kelley, and all the cousins. It was a beautiful evening to sit outside. We were so happy to be surrounded by family on Easter! We all enjoyed some pool fun after Easter dinner. Susie, Kelley, and the boys left the day after Easter. That week the boys were registered for swim lessons with the city. Nana and Papa came to watch. Tyler made it about 5 minutes before getting weepy and calling it quits. Ethan turned back to us from the pool and said “Mommy! He’s crying!” HAHAHA. So, Tyler became a spectator. Ethan did a great job. His lessons end next week and then both kids will have private lessons at our neighborhood pool. That will be more Tyler’s speed! Nana treated us to Rio 2 movie on Wed. Thursday Ethan skipped school so we could go to the zoo. Nana and Papa got to see the new Safari exhibit which now houses the lions. We love that place!

Nana and Papa were thankfully here when I had to go to the ER last Thursday night. I was having upper respiratory symptoms that I assumed were allergies. I am guessing I caught Ethan’s strep and it manifested into a middle ear infection. It woke me up at 3am. I received antibiotics and was able to finally get some relief. So, it’s been about two weeks of antibiotics in this house-go away, germs!

We took Nana and Papa to the airport on Friday-Tyler got weepy when they got out of the car “I miss Nana Papa”. Never easy to see family leave but we can look forward to resuming the fun when we visit them in the summer!
