Italy and Spain

In August, John and I took an anniversary trip to Rome. It was our first time there and we enjoyed every minute of it! We took in all of the history, culture, and dining that Rome had to offer. We also met up with a few friends from John’s company and then met up with the rest of his company pals in Barcelona. Every two years the company has an incentive trip abroad and thanks to his hard work, we have enjoyed them! This year it was to Spain and the tours, hotel, and city were amazing!

We talked to the kiddos over Facetime (video phone) and knew they were in great hands the whole time. Susie, John, and Nana all spoiled the kiddos with treats, play, and the new Airplanes pixar movie. What’s not to like about full-time play with cousins and a pool?! The best welcome ever was when we got to baggage claim and saw John, Susie, and the boys all smiling with balloons. It was so great to see them!
