Ethan Starts Preschool!

Ethan started preschool on Monday. He did a great job getting back into routine and Tyler is back into the drop-off/pick-up routine too. The staff at the school commented on how big Tyler is getting. Ethan marched into school like a pro. He’s older and experienced now so adjusting to school this year has been a piece of cake!

This year they split the older kids from the younger ones. This teacher appears to be focused on preparing the kiddos for “real” school. I didn’t care for a few of my encounters with her earlier this week but John actually had a good conversation when meeting her today. She seems to run a tight ship and commented that Ethan had a great first week and is “a sweet kid”. He is happy to go to school and is happy at pick-up so that’s good!

Thanks to Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Dave for the Superman and Batman backpacks for Ethan and Tyler. They love them! Thanks, Susie and John, for the awesome converse Superman shoes! They have been worn to school every day this week along with the Superman shirts he received as gifts!

It’s crazy to know that Ethan will be in Kindergarten next Fall. I’m in no rush!
